Comparison of Lightweight Screed Containing EPS and Normal Screed Applications

In this study, in order to observe the mechanical and physical properties of normal screed, sandy-lightweight screed lightweight samples, expanded polystyrene (EPS) was used as fine aggregate systems produced by replacing sand at 100%, 50% 0% weight. Samples cement dosages 250, 300, 350 kg/m3 were for screeds, screeds screeds.
 Unit weight, water absorption capacity, flexural strength, compressive fire resistance, abrasion thermal conductivity tests performed on systems. As a result research, it determined that EPS ratio increases system; unit weights decreased, rates increased. Besides, strengths, resistance are also decreased.
